‘HET ZWARTE GAT EEN SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY?’
Michelle van Mil stevent momenteel af op haar eindexamen aan de major Illustratie in Breda. De ondernemersgeest zit in haar bloed, want al in het derde jaar heeft ze tijdens de stage samen met haar medestudenten Marthe en Michael ‘Studio M’ opgericht. Haar focus ligt al voorbij de horizon van het eindexamen. In haar scriptieonderzoek neemt ze het veelgenoemde en welgevreesde ‘zwarte gat’ na de academie onder de loep. Bestaat er wel zoiets als het zwarte gat of is dit een self-fullfilling prophecy van de collectieve angst voor het onbekende? Haar scriptie ‘het zwarte gat in de illustratiewereld & hoe neem je de droomvlucht’ is een praktische handleiding om deze angst te ontzenuwen. Ze geeft handige, praktijkgeoriënteerde informatie, tips en tricks zodat zij en haar collega’s dalijk een ‘droomvlucht’ kunnen nemen in de wijde wereld buiten de academiemuren.
